My name is Abbigail, I'm 25 years old and I come from the UK. I'm currently living in the South of France and I'm fluent in French. I love travelling and have been quite lucky to visit many wonderful countries over the years. In my spare time, I like to read, play video games and I'm into manual hobbies like building Lego or, more recently, I've started crocheting (definitely not the easiest and requires a lot of patience - a bit like learning a language!)

For the longest time, I've had a passion for learning languages; French was always my favourite subject in school, and so I went on to study it, along with Italian, at university. During this time, I had the opportunity to study abroad, which solidified my love for discovering different cultures and not only learning languages but also sharing this passion with others through teaching.

Recently, I've decided to embark on a new adventure to share my passion and knowledge with as many of you as possible, which is why I've created AbbsEnglish ('Abbs' simply being a nickname).

Learning a language can often be overwhelming; it's difficult to know where to start, and all the vocabulary, grammar rules and tenses that you have to learn can be quite intimidating. That's why I wanted to create a space where learning English is straightforward and stress-free.
